The T&I Installation Engineer is responsible for managing the day-to-day interfaces with various stake holders both internal and external pertaining to operations to ensure safe and flawless execution of the construction work offshore to Major Transportation and Installation. During the execution of offshore projects, they are responsible to support the CSR ensuring all offshore installation and construction operations comply with Company\xe2\x80\x99s HSES policies, approved installation procedures, quality assurance standards and planning requirement.

What\xe2\x80\x99s the role?

• Lead a team of Construction Engineers and Installation Engineers to support daily aspects of T&I scope across multiple projects and contracts in SMEP.
• Manage HSSE for all installation/construction activities and barges/vessel operations in compliance with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s policy, standards, requirements, and aspirations.
• Develop installation scope in new tender for projects.
• Provide technical input for guiding, advising, and reviewing of engineering studies, and procedures; and obtain relevant endorsement and approval prior to mobilization of resources for transportation and installation of offshore facilities (pipeline, substructures, topside structure, umbilical) and construction activities.
• Liaise with and manage contractor to ensure resources (derrick/lay barges, cargo barges, tugs, equipment, construction, & marine crew, etc) meets the Company\xe2\x80\x99s standards are made available in time for all projects execution.
• Oversee, supervise and coordinate on derrick barges/lay barges/vessels\' day-to-day operations.
• Oversee and co-ordinate Offshore Installation Contractor on day-to-day operations.
• Ensure all works (different projects and different resources-barges/workboats) are executed with consistent standards and in compliance with Company\xe2\x80\x99s requirement covering HSE, quality and costs within the framework of the contract.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders i.e. project, asset, operations, maintenance, drilling, marine, geomatic, aviation, diving, etc team to ensure adequate support for project executions.
• Post award contract management, encompassing (but not limited to) RFQ, PO, CO, Invoices, VOWD, Closeout, etc. in accordance to to Shell Group Business Principles, PETRONAS\' standards, policies and procedures.
• Double up as the assistant T&I CSR during offshore work execution

What do we need from you?

• Essential Education and Qualification
• At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in T&I offshore construction, hook-up and commissioning, with the use of Multi-Purpose Vessel, DPDSV, combi barge and other type of marine spread.
• Significant general knowledge in ROV, Surface Diving or Saturated Diving contractor management.
• Additional Information:
• Applicants must be flexible and mobile to travel/relocate to support business needs as and when required.
• Applicants will be required to travel to offshore facilities to support business needs as and when required.
• Applicants must have general knowledge of Petronas PPGUA requirements with reference to T&I.
