Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Instrumentation & Systems Integration Engineer to lead automation and IT/OT integration projects within oil & gas operations. This role focuses on

instrumentation

DCS/SCADA systems

,

MES

, and

industrial networking

to improve system reliability and support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain instrumentation, DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems Lead IT/OT system integration between control systems and enterprise/cloud platforms Implement and support MES for improved production visibility and efficiency Design and maintain industrial networks (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, remote access) Work closely with operations, engineering, and IT teams Ensure compliance with industry standards and OT cybersecurity requirements Prepare technical documentation and mentor junior engineers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related field Strong experience in automation and systems integration within oil & gas Hands-on experience with DCS/PLC (Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, Siemens, SCADA) Knowledge of MES, OPC UA, MQTT, and industrial data integration Understanding of industrial networking and OT cybersecurity Good communication and problem-solving skills Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) Exposure to IIoT, edge computing, or data historians Relevant professional certifications
