We are currently the biggest player in Malaysia and aim to scale out our product offering across more verticals and geographies.We are growing fast - this is an extremely exciting moment for SOCAR.What will you be engaged in?
As our new Insurance Associate, you will be an administrative champion for Procurement functions with Motor Insurance as a core portfolio to ensure that the business continues to run smoothly. Your day-to-day tasks include

  • Process owner for full-suite insurance purchase (new and renewal) including but not limited to proposal drafting
  • Input and validate motor vehicle information obtained from various sources as part of the backend processing
  • Manage insurance premium payment scheduling and online portal administration
  • Liaise with insurance partners to resolve issues pertaining to claims and policy wordings that may arise
  • Keep abreast with the latest insurance developments/products and advice on policy updates
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives to streamline insurance backend processing
  • Perform analysis on insurance purchase trends and produce reports
  • Manage insurance repository and ensure all documents are in order
  • Willing to perform ad hoc duties and support extended team members as needed

  • Diploma or Degree in any field
  • Prior experience in motor insurance backend processing and administration is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of the motor insurance industry
  • Keen attention to detail with excellent time management skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude, good communication skills and able to work independently and confidently
  • Creative minded and a problem solver
  • Have impeccable work attitude and are willing to do whatever it takes to get stuff done
  • Take advantage of every single opportunity to learn something new, whether it be work-related or not
  • IT-savvy and competent in Microsoft Office tools & Google Suite
