Job Description
Job Title: Intercompany Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Support month-end closing, journal entries, and intercompany reconciliations. Manage intercompany receivables, payables, invoices, and purchase orders. Prepare and post reports for monthly and quarterly reviews. Assist with project tie-outs (CFIN to HFM). Resolve backlog issues and ensure tasks are completed on time. Provide financial data for internal audits and reviews. Update process flows and documentation. Collaborate with finance teams on projects and initiatives.
Requirements
Experience:
3-5 years in Finance/Accounting.Education:
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.Skills:
Financial analysis, reporting, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, problem-solving, adaptability.Tools:
SAP/Oracle, HFM, Excel.Industry:
Finance/Shared Services.Preferred Background:
Shared service centers, professional firms (PwC, EY, Deloitte).Preferred Attributes
ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA qualification (advantage). Experience in Shared Services. Positive, professional, and accountable. Able to work independently under tight deadlines. Strong team player with customer-focused mindset. Extra advantage: experience in SAP, Oracle, Pascal.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
