This role is exclusively for individuals with a background in Interior Design Project Management
We are not accepting applications from project managers with experience in IT engineering construction renovation or business sectors
Only those with demonstrated experience in managing interior design projects within an interior design firm will be considered As a Project Manager your primary responsibility will be to oversee our interior design and renovation projects starting from the design handoff through to project completion
Your primary duties include
Project Coordination
Develop schedule and oversee project timelines
Facilitate communication between designers contractors vendors and clients
Ensure project deliverables are aligned with timelines and scope
Site Oversight
Perform site visits to assess quality and progress
Verify adherence to design specifications and standards
Address challenges and manage site operations effectively
Budget and Procurement Oversight
Monitor project budgets and assess any variations
Identify material sources and negotiate with vendors
Propose cost effective solutions when necessary
Client and Team Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison for clients
Facilitate progress meetings and deliver status updates
Ensure accurate project records and documentation are maintained
Quality and Safety Monitoring
Guarantee adherence to DDA's quality standards
Implement safety and compliance regulations
Oversee final inspections and address any defects
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related field
Minimum 5 to 10 years of working experience in project management preferably in interior design renovation or construction
Proven track record managing high end residential and or commercial projects
Technical and Industry Skills
Solid knowledge of construction methods interior finishing and materials
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Word PowerPoint and project management tools
Familiar with procurement tendering and contractor coordination
Understanding of local building regulations and safety requirements

Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
Detail oriented with strong time management
Clear and confident communication skills written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Language and Other Requirements
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia Mandarin is a bonus
Willing to travel between sites within Klang Valley or to Singapore if required
Must possess own transport and valid driving license
