1. Lead, mentor, and empower the sales team
to consistently achieve performance targets (KPI).
2.Deliver ongoing training and support
to strengthen sales techniques, deepen knowledge of design concepts, materials, and finishes, and elevate client engagement.
3.Manage the full sales cycle
, from lead generation and client qualification through tailored design proposals, mood board presentations, negotiations, and successful contract closures.
4.Ensure proposals and presentations communicate design vision
effectively, reflecting the firm's brand identity.
5.Review and assess designers' outputs
including 3D renderings, 2D space plans, moodboards, and construction drawings to confirm alignment with client requirements and budget.
6.Serve as the key liaison between sales, design, and project management teams
, ensuring seamless integration of creative vision, technical execution, and client expectations.
7.Provide constructive feedback to the design team
to enhance visual impact, storytelling, and clarity of client-facing presentations.
8.Anticipate and resolve challenges
in the sales process, design deliverables, procurement choices, or client communications swiftly and effectively.
9.Prepare and present regular reports to directors
on sales performance, pipeline health, client feedback, and market insights specific to the interior design industry.
Requirements:
Possess an
Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
in Interior Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven
sales experience
, ideally within the interior design or related creative industry.
Minimum
5 years of experience
in sales, with on-site exposure preferred.
Strong drive and passion for achieving sales success and delivering excellence.
Proficient in
AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max & V-Ray, SketchUp
, or equivalent design software.
Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and committed to providing outstanding customer experiences.
Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage
, particularly for liaising with contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong skills in
presentation, client relationship management, consultation, and strategic prospecting
.
A keen eye for interior design and aesthetics will be considered an advantage.
Must possess
own transport
