Job Responsibilities & Scope

• Develop design concepts for residential, commercial and industrial projects
• Create visual representations of design ideas using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and other graphic design software
• Develop interior design plans, drawings, and specifications
• Select color schemes, textures, and materials to create cohesive design concepts
• Prepare detailed renderings and visualizations of design concepts
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that design projects meet deadlines and budget requirements
• Review design specifications and recommend materials, fixtures, and finishes to ensure project quality
• Stay up to date with design trends, materials, and technology advancements to maintain a competitive edge in the field
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under tight deadlines

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

• Higher/Graduate diploma in interior design
• Previous experience in interior design or related fields
• Strong design skills are essential with good eye for color, composition, and typography
• Proficiency in design software
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients, project managers, and others
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines
• Languages: English / Chinese /Bahasa Melayu
• Must have transportation and ability to travel to customer sites as needed
