About the role

Marrybrown Sdn Bhd, a leading restaurant chain in Malaysia, is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join their team at their headquarters in Johor Bahru, Johor. As an Interior Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity and ambiance of Marrybrown's restaurants, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer experience across all locations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

What you'll be doing

Responsibilities

Collaborating with the design and marketing teams to conceptualise and implement innovative interior design solutions for new and existing Marrybrown restaurant locations Developing detailed design plans, including floor plans, furniture selection, color schemes, and lighting designs Overseeing the implementation of design projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards Conducting site inspections and coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure the successful execution of design plans Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies to continuously enhance the Marrybrown brand experience Providing support and guidance to the operations team on maintaining the aesthetic and functionality of restaurant interiors

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial interior design, preferably in the food and beverage industry Proficiency in design software such as 3d Studio Max (advanced) , Photoshop Editing (intermediate), illustrator (intermediate) , sketchup , AUTOCAD Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes Excellent problem-solving, project management, and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesPassion for creating exceptional dining experiences through innovative interior design Willing to travel when needed .

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
