Ooi Design & Associates Sdn Bhd is a well-established, registered interior design company, currently searching for new team members to join us in producing high-quality design projects. Your contribution will add value to the team and the end product, directly impacting our customer satisfaction and profits!

Your role will include the following:

• Producing high-quality project deliverables in both FF&E and construction documents.
• Work on all phases of development including Pre-Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Material Selection, Construction Drawings, and Project Coordination.
• Travel to the site for project meetings, conduct site measurements, etc.
• Work closely with the team to ensure the facilitation of a project\'s completion; on time, on/under budget, and meets OD&A\'s quality standards.
• Consistently bring fresh ideas to the team and is able to translate design concepts into design details.
• Request for information/ material samples from suppliers and follow up on lead times & quotes.
• Attend to client and contractors\xe2\x80\x99 queries.
• Documentation and keeping records of project-related information.

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fields
• Possess minimum work experience of 2 years/ prior experience as a junior designer
• Experienced in Drafting/Interior construction detailing
• Knowledgable in AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketchup, Photoshop & Microsoft office
• Being well versed in ISO procedures is an added advantage
• Fluency in Chinese to communicate with suppliers & contractors is an added advantage
• Has previous experience in joining design competitions is an added advantage
• Organised, able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good presentation skills, able to communicate openly & directly, verbally & in writing, with team members & clients
• High level of professional integrity, honest & self-confident, and willing to share knowledge & ideas
