Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior technical design, demonstrating a strong understanding of construction detailing and space planning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings.
• Proven ability to create 3D models for design visualization and presentations.
• Experience in project coordination, ensuring seamless execution of design plans and effective communication with contractors and other stakeholders.
• Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, and construction teams.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian building codes and regulations related to interior design and construction.
• Ability to develop detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications.
• Experience in selecting and specifying interior finishes, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring compliance with project budgets and design intent.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical challenges that may arise during the design and construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings and construction documents for interior design projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with interior designers and project managers to translate design concepts into feasible technical solutions, providing expertise in construction detailing and material selection.
• Conduct site surveys and measurements to create accurate as-built drawings and identify potential challenges or discrepancies in existing structures.
• Prepare and coordinate detailed specifications for interior finishes, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring seamless integration with the overall design intent.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other relevant software to produce high-quality 2D and 3D models, renderings, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas and technical solutions.
• Manage and coordinate project documentation, including shop drawings, submittals, and change orders, ensuring timely and accurate communication between all stakeholders.
