The intern will assist in developing and executing online marketing campaigns, managing the hotel's digital presence, and supporting strategies to increase online visibility, direct bookings, and brand engagement. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing within the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in
content creation
for hotel social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Schedule and manage
daily social media posts
and monitor engagement and inquiries
Support in planning and executing
digital advertising campaigns
(Meta Ads, Google Ads)
Assist in
email marketing
and e-newsletter design for promotions, packages, and events
Update hotel listings on
OTA platforms
(e.g. Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia) with accurate visuals and descriptions
Help optimize
SEO
and
SEM
performance for hotel website and online campaigns
Capture and edit short-form
photo and video content
for social media and promotions
Monitor and report
social media and campaign performance metrics
Conduct research on
competitors, travel trends, and guest demographics
Support marketing team during hotel
events, photoshoots, and content production
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in
Marketing, Mass Communication, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field
Interest or basic knowledge in
digital marketing, content creation, or e-commerce
Proficiency in
social media platforms
(Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage
Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus)
Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about hotel marketing
Able to work independently and within a team environment
