About our group:We are currently seeking an Electrical and Electronics intern to join our team located in Seremban, Oakland Malaysia. The intern will work with our experienced engineers from the Equipment Development Engineering (EDE) team. The EDE hardware team is dedicated to designing, developing and maintaining various electrical and electronics systems and components for our backend testers, while also offering assistance for resolving PCBA card tester issues at manufacturing sites.About the role - you will:

• You will work closely with our development team to gain practical experience in electrical engineering and electronics and contribute to ongoing projects. This internship offers valuable hands-on learning opportunities in various aspects of electrical systems and electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Electrical Design: Work with our engineering team to assist in the design and development of electrical systems and circuits for various projects
• Prototype Development: Participate in the prototyping and testing of electronic devices and components to ensure functionality and performance
• Troubleshooting: Help diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues in existing systems or prototypes and propose solutions accordingly
• Documentation: Document test procedures, results, and design specifications to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to contribute to multidisciplinary projects
• Learning and Development: Proactively seek opportunities to learn about new technologies, tools, and methodologies in the field of electrical and electronics engineering

Within one month you will:

• Gain opportunity to acquire a solid understanding of basic electrical and electronic principles, hands-on experience in circuit prototyping and testing, and the ability to contribute to simple projects under supervision

Within six months you will:

• Have opportunity to significantly deepen your knowledge and skills in various aspects of the field and build upon their knowledge of basic circuits to design more complex circuits

Long term learning:

• You should have acquired a comprehensive understanding of advanced electrical and electronics concepts, gained proficiency in practical skills such as circuit design and testing, and demonstrated the ability to contribute independently to complex engineering projects. They should be well-prepared to transition into a junior engineering role or pursue further education in the field.

About you:

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with electrical circuit design principles, electronic components, and basic testing techniques
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Altium Designer, or similar tools is a plus
• Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in the field of electrical and electronics engineering

Your experience includes:

• Any projects that you have completed in your studies to demonstrate your experience and skills to design and simulate, create schematics, layout PCBs, implement control systems for various applications such as robotics, automation, or mechatronics projects, and showcase your problem-solving abilities.
