You will be part of the Schaeffler Shared Services Asia Pacific organization which consists of Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Purchasing and Logistics. Depending on your field of discipline, you will participate in technically focused training, team meetings and work on projects and present your results. During your internship you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure that you have a valuable learning experience.

As an Intern, you will be responsible for:

• Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, and data entry
• Contribute to month-end close activities, such as preparing closing journals
• Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
• Assist with ad-hoc projects to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance department
• Performing other relevant support activities as and when required

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters level degree program in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technology, Purchasing or Logistics related fields
• Have maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent
• Be in your final or penultimate year of degree studies
• Be fluent in oral and written English
• Have the legal right to work without restrictions in Malaysia
