JOB TITLE: INTERN OPERATIONS RELIABILITY & INTEGRITY (INSTRUMENT)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting the Electrical & Instrument Technical Authority and Instrument Team with all Instrument activities for offshore facilities from projects to upgrades to engineering to procurement to installation offshore
• Responsible to assist the team in managing Instrument Control & Safety Systems, Programmable Logic Control, and Electrical Systems at PMY Facilities including West Desaru MOPU (Mobile Offshore Production Unit) and Cendor FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading) gaining invaluable exposure to Offshore Oil & Gas Operations and Maintenance
• Assisting the Instrumentation Team in Planning and Preparation for Planned Shutdown 2024
• Ensuring all engineering and activities are in adhering to Petronas Technical Standards (PTS) / IEC / API Standards, PPGUA, PTCAM /PPS gaining key exposure to the offshore requirements in Malaysia.
• Requirement for short term Site Assignment (visit for up to 1 week) \xe2\x80\x93 To visit KSB Warehouse for Materials & Equipments familiarization.
• Requirement for short term Site Assignment (visit for up to 1 week) \xe2\x80\x93 To attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Instrumentations / Control Systems Function test.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Control & Instrumentations /Industrial Automation/ Mechatronics / Industrial Electronics/ Electrical with a minimum CGPA 3.0/4 or its equivalent.
• Fundamental knowledge of Field Instrumentation
• Fundamental knowledge of PLC / DCS (Distributed Control System) / SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
• Able to understand P&ID (Process & Instrumentation Diagram) and Instrumentation and Electrical drawings.
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to Work Independently
