Reporting to the Manager, Client Accounting for a period of 6 months based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and offers you a valuable insights into the payroll process and enhance their accounting and financial skills.Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support the payroll team with data entry, updating payroll records, and maintaining accurate client information.
  • Help in the reconciliation of payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and statements for clients.
  • Aid in the preparation and filing of payroll taxes and ensure timely submission of all payroll-related documents.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll issues, adjustments, and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with general accounting practices.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives aimed at improving payroll processes and systems.
Key requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
