Job Description

Job scope - Intern (Product Development)
1. Assist in all aspects of product development from concept to product commercialization across the group of all airline operating countries under AirAsia In-flight and SANTAN Restaurant
2. Support planning and execution of product development calendar across the group base on company / departmental goals, sales analysis, marketing strategies, customer trend and feedback.
3. Conduct on-board and on-ground testing for new products, and carry out evaluation session for existing products periodically to ensure quality and consistency.
4. Assist AirAsia in-flight, SANTAN Restaurant and other relevant departments to finalize respective new products which includes photo shoot, food styling, writing and proof reading menu description.
5. Support relevant quality assurance responsibilities when required.
6. Work closely with other relevant departments in launching of respective new products, brief and train Flight Attendants / Operation Team on the new products
7. Coordinate sampling events, document and review product performance

8. Assist monitoring the quality chain compliances at supplier, warehouse, distribution, restaurant as well as crew handling in all SANTAN business units (inflight & restaurant)
with audit & inspection plan.

9. Support the establishment of Food Safety and Quality requirements for food product specification with proper assessment by the QA Team to ensure product compliance to regulatory requirements and safe to go live.
