Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer intern focused on mobile and web testing, with an interest in test automation and generative AI tools. While previous experience is advantageous, we are keen to nurture fresh talent and contribute. Familiarity with test scripting in languages such as Python, Golang, or Java is beneficial for product automation tasks.
You will report to QA Engineering Manager II. This is a paid internship role and is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will support comprehensive testing and release of high-quality new features.
• You will gain an in-depth understanding of products/functions and implementation logic from an end-user perspective.
• You will collaborate with stakeholders in project teams, maintaining communication and cooperation.
• You will help define test plans, test strategies, test cases, and the provision of available testing tools for functional testing to improve test efficiency.
• You will learn to implement and maintain UI (web, mobile) and API automation tests for new features and regression testing.
• You will help build test tools to improve test efficiency.
• You will explore and integrate generative AI tools to enhance testing processes and product development.

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You will need to start the internship in July 2025 with a minimum duration of 3 months.
• You are majoring in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of Android, iOS Mobile application, and API testing.
• Familiarity with software testing processes and quality assurance methodologies.
• Basic programming skills (familiar with at least one of Java/Python/Go programming).
• Interest in learning automation (web, mobile apps, and API automation).
• Familiarity with common testing tools: Charles, Postman, UI automation tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.), Jiraxe2x80xa6
• Interest or experience in generative AI tools and applications.
