Get to Know the Role
You will work with the engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services. You will be provided with hands-on experience in backend system architecture and development, and to create scalable and efficient solutions. You will report to the Software Engineer Manager.
This role is based on-site in our Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will collaborate with teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that support our applications.
• You will participate in the architecture and design of backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
• You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices and coding standards.
• You will help troubleshoot and debugging issues in existing backend services.

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Only for candidates who are available to start in July 2025.
• Your studies as a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Golang, C++, C, C#, Java, Python, and willing to work on Golang.
• You have an ability to structure data and write algorithms.
• Knowledge in database management systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
