Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Warehouse IT Retail Intern to join our team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of supply chain management, IT, and retail operations. The intern will assist in the day-to-day functions of our warehouse, focusing on leveraging technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, possess strong analytical skills, and be eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:



Warehouse Operations Support:

Assist with the receiving, storing, and tracking of incoming retail products using our warehouse management system (WMS). Learn and apply inventory management best practices, including cycle counting and stock audits, to ensure data accuracy. Help with order fulfillment processes, from picking and packing to preparing shipments for retail stores or e-commerce customers. Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.

IT System & Data Analysis:

Gain hands-on experience with key IT systems used in a retail supply chain, such as the WMS, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and POS (Point of Sale) systems. Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like inventory accuracy, order cycle time, and warehouse productivity. Help in preparing and testing new system functionalities, updates, and applications.

Process Improvement & Projects:

Participate in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing warehouse efficiency and reducing operational costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and store management, to implement new processes or technologies. Document workflows, create training materials, and provide support to end-users on new systems or procedures. Contribute ideas and insights for leveraging technology to optimize retail supply chain operations.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 600 months

Pay: RM600.00 - RM601.00 per month
