An exciting Internal Audit Assistant Manager job has just become available at one of the conglomerate companies based in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Internal Audit Assistant Manager Role:
As the Internal Audit Assistant Manager, you will be leading a team and involved in full spectrum of internal audit, having exposure to various industries under the group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and identification of auditable areas
• Carry out audit assignment as planned and follow-up on pending issues
• Review principal business risks, internal financial controls, accounting system and records of companies
• Review operational controls and compliance with policies and procedures, accounting rules and other legislations affecting companies
• Prepare draft internal audit report on all issues encountered
• Ensure completeness, quality and accuracy of audit report
• Resolve issues with the auditee
• Assign/plan and advise the work of Audit Executive/Assistants
• Provide suggestion on improvement to system and processes

To succeed in this Internal Audit Assistant Manager role, you must be a high energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance/Accounting/Investment/Economics
• At least five years of work experience
• Strong negotiation skills with a good understanding of current market practices
• Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Written and verbal proficiency in English
• Good presentation and writing skills
