ROLE SUMMARY: The Senior Executive will play a crucial role in conducting audits, evaluating internal controls, and providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and effectiveness of the company\'s internal audit processes. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Conduct internal audits: \xc2\xb7 Perform comprehensive audits of the company\'s operations, processes, financial statements, and internal controls. \xc2\xb7 Assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. \xc2\xb7 Identify control weaknesses, process inefficiencies, and potential risks. \xc2\xb7 Analyze and interpret audit findings accurately and objectively. 2. Assist in audit planning and risk assessment: \xc2\xb7 Support the development and execution of risk-based audit plans. \xc2\xb7 Participate in risk assessments to identify key areas of focus. \xc2\xb7 Assist in designing audit procedures and testing methodologies. \xc2\xb7 Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and tools. 3. Evaluate internal controls: \xc2\xb7 Assess the effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls across various departments and processes. \xc2\xb7 Identify control gaps and deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement. \xc2\xb7 Monitor the implementation of control enhancements and ensure their effectiveness. 4. Compliance and regulatory oversight: \xc2\xb7 Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. \xc2\xb7 Assist in ensuring the company\'s compliance with applicable laws and regulations. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with management to address compliance-related issues. 5. Stakeholder collaboration: SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent is preferred. \xc2\xb7 Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of internal auditing standards, principles, and practices. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of telecommunications industry operations and related risks is advantageous. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \xc2\xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and in a team environment. \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
