Job Description


The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for conducting risk-based audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance, and operational efficiency within the organisation. This role involves preparing detailed audit reports, making recommendations for improvement, and collaborating with management to strengthen the overall governance framework.

  • Conduct risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Prepare and present audit reports, highlighting significant findings and recommendations.
  • Identify and assess areas for audit coverage, evaluating inherent risks related to cost, efficiency, and quality.
  • Review and enhance the adequacy of internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Ensure audit programs and procedures are regularly updated for effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to add value and ensure timely completion of audit assignments.

  • Education: Degree in finance or accounting; professional qualifications (ACCA, CIA, etc.).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in internal or external audit with a focus on risk management and corporate governance.
