Job Summary



The Internal Business Partner, Business Development will be a key liaison and strategic support for the Sales and Business Development teams, with a primary responsibility for identifying, researching, and qualifying new potential clients and market opportunities (prospecting). This role ensures the sales pipeline is robust, well-researched, and aligned with the company's growth strategy. The successful candidate will blend commercial acumen with analytical skills to drive the front-end of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities



1.

Prospecting & Lead Generation (Primary Focus):

Conduct in-depth market research to identify new target markets, industry trends, and potential high-value prospects. Utilize internal data, CRM, and external tools (e.g.,

LinkedIn Sales Navigator,

industry databases) to build and maintain a comprehensive list of qualified leads.
2. Develop and execute initial outreach strategies (e.g., email campaigns, personalized connection requests) to qualify prospects before handing them off to CPs.

Collaborate with Marketing to ensure lead generation campaigns are effective and target the ideal customer profile (ICP). Create detailed company and contact profiles for CPs, including key pain points, decision-makers, and relevant historical data.
3. Internal Partnership & Alignment:

Act as the primary point of contact between the CPs team and other internal departments (e.g., Public Program team, Marketing, and Operations). Provide regular, data-driven reports and insights on prospecting activities, and market and trends feedback to Sales team
4. Strategy & Process Improvement:

Assist in defining and refining the Ideal Customer Profile, relevant industries and the company's overall go-to-market strategy. Stay informed on competitor strategies and market shifts to advise Sales team on potential new avenues for growth.
5. Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Min 3 years of experience in a Business Development Representative, Sales Support, Market Research, or a similar role with a heavy focus on prospecting. Proven ability to conduct effective market and company research to identify and qualify high-potential leads. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable business insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling and personalized outreach messages. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo). Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently. A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work effectively across different teams.
6. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Corporate Trainings sector. Familiarity with sales methodologies (B2B Research, to ensure the sales pipeline is filled with strategically aligned, high-potential companies). Experience with marketing automation tools.
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
