Job Description

Key Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

1. Internal Control Framework & Policy



Develop, implement, and maintain the company's internal control framework and related policies. Ensure internal control procedures comply with corporate standards, laws, and regulatory requirements. Periodically review and update control processes to reflect business or operational changes.

2. Risk Assessment & Management



Identify and assess key operational, financial, and compliance risks across departments. Design risk mitigation strategies and monitor the effectiveness of implemented controls. Work closely with management to address high-risk areas and propose improvements.

3. Audit & Compliance



Conduct regular internal audits to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Prepare audit findings and follow up on corrective action plans. Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.

4. Financial & Operational Control



Review financial transactions and processes to ensure accuracy and prevent fraud. Validate the integrity of financial reports and compliance with accounting standards. Monitor operational processes to detect inefficiencies or control gaps.

5. Process Improvement



Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and control reliability. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and strengthen governance. Lead control optimization initiatives to support business growth and cost reduction.

6. Reporting & Documentation



Prepare periodic internal control and risk assessment reports for senior management and the Board. Maintain documentation of all internal control activities, reviews, and updates. Track and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and key control indicators (KCIs).

7. Training & Awareness



Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance, internal controls, and risk awareness. Promote a strong culture of accountability and ethical conduct across the organization.

8. Coordination & Stakeholder Management



Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal departments during audits. Serve as a liaison between management, audit teams, and business units to ensure consistent control standards
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
