Cambridge Experienced Middle School Science Teacher - April / May 2023 Start

We are seeking a Founding Faculty Middle School Science Teacher (Grade 7, 8 and 9) for Sunway International School, Iskandar, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Sunway is launching a new Cambridge / IGCSE Program in May 2023 and we currently have vacancies for the following teaching positions.

International teachers who\'s first language is English and who have completed a Post Graduate Degree in Education, a Bachelor Degree in Education, a Diploma in Teaching / Education or an equivalent in countries such as Canada, The US, Ireland, The UK, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa and who have experience with Cambridge / IGCSE / A-Levels are invited to apply.

Requirements:

Profession Teacher Qualifications and Teaching license from countries such as Ireland, The UK, Australia, New Zealand Canada, The United States or South Africa

Preference will be given to Teachers with QTS

First Language - English

2+ years of teaching experience using Cambridge Standards

Exceptions can be made for Qualified Teachers from the United Kingdom

Experience and training as an international school ESL Teacher is an advantage

Teacher Benefits:

Monthly Basic Salary: RM 10,560 - RM 15,480 per month

Contract period: 12 month

Allowances:

Kuala Lumpur Living Allowance - RM 750 per month

Welfare Allowance - RM 1,000 per month

Family Allowance - up to RM 1,500 per month

IT / Maths / Science at Secondary School Level : RM 1,500 per month

Waved Tuition and Discounts for school aged dependent children
