Job Description
- Position: International Freight Logistics Officer.
- Salary: RM 3000-4000.
- Work Location: Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya.
Our client is a well established and industry leader in international multi-modal logistics forwarding industry. The company provides mainly ocean freight and warehousing for their customers. Now they have an opportunity for a freight forwarding all rounder to handle a combination of Import and Export operations within their business main office in Kelana Jaya.
Key responsibilities
\xc2\xb7Liaising with Customers, suppliers, overseas agents/offices.
\xc2\xb7Coordinating export documentation requirements including receipt and verification of export documentation, issuing booking confirmation.
\xc2\xb7Export shipment registration requirements and issue pre alerts to overseas office/agents.
\xc2\xb7Assist with coordination of export collection/import deliveries.
\xc2\xb7Verification of documents received from overseas to ensure completeness and accurate.
\xc2\xb7Invoicing customer/agents and verifying vendor invoices for approval.
The Person
\xc2\xb7Malaysian female with Diploma qualification in Shipping or Freight Management.
\xc2\xb7Possess 1-2 years work experience within a freight forwarding or logistics industry role.
\xc2\xb7Possess excellent verbal/written communications skills in this case English and good customer service skills.
\xc2\xb7Experience with the computer system Cargowise will be an advantage.
