Job Description

Position Summary



The Credit Assessment Support (Clerical) staff is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Credit Assessment team. This role ensures that all customer applications are processed efficiently, documents are accurate and complete, and compliance standards are met. The position plays a key role in maintaining smooth workflow within the credit approval process.

Key Responsibilities



1. Documentation & Data Management



- Receive, verify, and organize customer applications and supporting documents

- Accurately enter and update customer information into the system.
- Maintain proper filing systems (digital/physical) for all applications to support audits and compliance checks.

2. Initial Verification & Support



- Conduct preliminary checks to ensure documents are complete and consistent.
- Assist in retrieving and uploading credit bureau reports (CTOS, CCRIS, CRA).
- Highlight incomplete, inaccurate, or suspicious applications for further review by credit officers.

3. System & Reporting Support



- Upload customer documents and bureau reports into internal credit systems.
- Update daily/weekly trackers to monitor application status, turnaround time, and pending cases.
- Prepare summary reports for credit officers and management.

4. Coordination & Communication



- Liaise with sales agents/branches for missing or additional customer documents.
- Communicate with customers (if required) to clarify basic credit information.
- Provide support during audits, compliance reviews, and internal meetings.

- Provide customer service support by handling CCP ticket inquiries.
- Update CCP approval documents via EZY CCP system when required.

5. Compliance & Quality Control



- Ensure all processing activities adhere to internal SOPs, company policies, and regulatory standards.
- Report discrepancies or red-flag cases to credit officers immediately.
- Support process improvement initiatives to reduce errors and improve efficiency.

Requirements



1. Education & Experience



- Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Prior clerical/administrative experience in banking, finance, or credit operations is an advantage.

2. Skills



- Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel, data entry systems).
- Attention to detail with high accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills (Malay & English; Mandarin is an added advantage).

3. Personal Qualities



- Responsible, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented with good coordination skills.
- Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive customer data.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Accuracy of data entry and documentation (>98%).


- Turnaround time for processing applications.
- Compliance rate with SOPs and audit requirements.
- Effective communication with sales agents/branches

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM1,200.00 per month

Work Location: In person
