Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Assisting in daily accounting operations

, including data entry, invoice processing, and payment records.

Prepare and update financial documents

such as purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and delivery notes.

Assist in account reconciliation

- matching supplier invoices, verifying supporting documents, and updating ledgers.

Support month-end closing activities

such as journal entries, petty cash reconciliation, and expense tracking.

Assist in preparing reports

- cash flow, expense summaries, and sales performance related to logistics operations.

Handle filing and documentation

of financial records (physical and digital).

Coordinate with operations/logistics team

for billing, freight charges, and cost verification.

Assist in verifying customer and supplier accounts

- outstanding payments, credit notes, or debit notes.

Support auditors or finance executives

in audit preparation and document submission. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the

Finance or Accounts Executive/Manager

Learning Outcomes:

Exposure to

logistics billing processes

, import/export documentation, and cost allocation. Hands-on experience with

accounting software

(e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount, or SAP). Understanding of

financial workflows in logistics

companies (billing, invoicing, and freight accounting).
