To assist the facilities team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe operation of low-voltage electrical systems under supervision, while gaining hands-on experience aligned with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) standards.
Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance & Support

• Assist in routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs of LV electrical systems (?1kV), including switchboards, distribution boards, motors, and control panels.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical faults and participate in emergency response under guidance.
• Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all tasks comply with Electricity Supply Act 1990, Electricity Regulations 1994, and ST requirements.
• Maintain proper safety practices and use PPE during all electrical work.
• Documentation

• Help update maintenance logs, inspection reports, and statutory records.
• Project Assistance

• Support installation and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors during maintenance or shutdown activities.
• Learning & Development

• Gain exposure to energy-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (final-year student preferred).
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of LV electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
• Skills:

• Good analytical and troubleshooting ability.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Other:

• Willingness to work on-site and travel if required.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
