Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia, Engineering or related field.
Basic understanding of AV equipment: projectors, interactive panels, sound systems, microphones.
Basic knowledge of networking (WiFi/LAN), hardware setup, connectors, cables.
Familiarity with Windows / macOS / other relevant OS.
Good problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure when things go wrong (e.g. during an event).
Good communication skills, able to explain tech things simply.
Good attention to detail, reliable, proactive (e.g. to check equipment ahead of time so issues are minimised).
Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
Flexibility: able to work outside standard hours (evenings / weekends) when events or meetings are scheduled.
Tanggungjawab
Assist in setup, configuration, and operation of interactive panels, projectors, sound systems, microphones, video conferencing gear for meetings / events.
Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues during meetings/events, including hardware, software, connectivity, AV etc.
Maintain, clean and inspect AV / display equipment, cabling, connectors to ensure reliability.
Assist with routine maintenance: updating firmware/software of devices, checking cables, cleaning lens / screens, replacing bulbs or consumables etc.
Prepare / test equipment before scheduled bookings to ensure all is working.
Support demos of interactive panels / projector technology to prospective clients / visitors.
Monitor and maintain network connectivity in the experience centre; help diagnose issues (WiFi, LAN).
Assist with user accounts / permissions if required for devices.
Maintain inventory of equipment, accessories (cables, remotes, adapters etc.).
Document issues, resolutions, standard procedures / user guides (how to use panel, projector, how to connect devices etc.).
Escalate more complex technical issues to senior IT staff.
Be present during events to provide on-the-spot technical support.
