Requirements
- Students or fresh graduates in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented and organized with good analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data handling.
- Good communication skills in English (Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin is a plus).
- Eager to learn about procurement processes in the healthcare/retail industry.
- Able to work well in a team and under minimal supervision.
1. Researching and evaluating suppliers:
Identifying and assessing potential suppliers, comparing prices and specifications, and negotiating contracts.
2. Preparing purchase requisitions and orders:
Drafting purchase requests, creating purchase orders, and ensuring accurate documentation.
3. Invoice verification and payment:
Ensuring invoices are accurate and complete, and preparing them for payment.
4. Supporting procurement processes:
Assisting with tasks like tender preparation, order follow-up, and inventory management.
5. Adhering to procurement policies:
Ensuring all procurement activities comply with organizational and donor rules.
6. Maintaining records:
Keeping track of purchase orders, contracts, and other relevant documents.
7. Supporting the procurement team:
Providing administrative assistance, such as organizing meetings, taking minutes, and translating documents.
8. Gaining practical experience:
Learning and developing skills in procurement practices through hands-on work
