About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and proactive

Software Engineering Intern

with a strong interest in backend development using

.NET Core

. You will work closely with our engineering team to design, build, test, and improve enterprise-level applications, APIs, and internal systems.

This internship offers real-world development experience, exposure to modern software engineering practices, and opportunities to contribute to live production projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining applications using

.NET Core

, C#, and related technologies. Participate in API design, development, integration, and testing. Work with databases such as

SQL Server

,

MySQL

, or

PostgreSQL

. Support debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues. Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and sprint activities. Assist in integrating third-party services, APIs, and cloud services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, UI/UX, Product) to deliver high-quality features. Learn and adopt best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and version control (Git).

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in

Computer Science

,

Software Engineering

, or related fields. Basic understanding of

C#

,

.NET Core

, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web application architecture. Knowledge of relational databases (SQL queries, schemas). Experience with

Git

or version control systems is an added advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

Experience with

Entity Framework Core

, LINQ. Knowledge of

HTML, JavaScript, or frontend frameworks

. Understanding of

Docker

, CI/CD, or cloud technologies (Azure/AWS). Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes.
