Job Description

• Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with other software like Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects may also be beneficial
• Ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas to video projects. Attention to detail in editing to ensure a polished final product
• Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and take on new challenges as they arise
• Professional demeanor and attitude, including reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn from constructive criticism

• Supporting the editing process by cutting footage, adding transitions, syncing audio, and organizing project files
• Offering input on video concepts, storyboards, and editing techniques during brainstorming sessions with the creative team
• Assisting with color correction and grading tasks to ensure consistency and quality throughout the video
• Helping to clean up audio tracks, add sound effects, and mix audio levels for clear and engaging sound
• Supporting the addition of text overlays, graphic elements, and visual effects to enhance the video\'s impact.
• Organizing and managing video files, ensuring proper labeling, backup, and storage according to the organization\'s protocols.
• Working closely with other members of the creative team, including directors, producers, and fellow editors, to bring projects to fruition.
• Actively seeking opportunities to learn new editing techniques, software skills, and industry best practices through training sessions, workshops, and online tutorials.
• Receiving feedback on edited videos from supervisors or clients and making revisions as necessary to meet their expectations.
• Adhering to project timelines and deadlines, ensuring that edited videos are completed on schedule and ready for distribution or publication.
