To support the HALAL Assurance System (HAS) implementation and compliance activities in accordance with JAKIM, MS 1500, and company requirements, while gaining practical exposure to HALAL management in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and updating HALAL-related documentation (HAS files, records, procedures).
Support the HALAL Executive in monitoring compliance with MS 1500, JAKIM, and internal HALAL policies.
Assist in ingredient, raw material, and supplier HALAL verification (certificates, approvals, traceability).
Participate in internal HALAL audits, inspections, and site walkthroughs.
Support HALAL training activities, awareness programs, and toolbox briefings.
Assist in handling non-conformance reports (NCR), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support HALAL logo usage control and product labeling checks.
Assist in preparation for HALAL audits, renewals, or surveillance audits.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed
Diploma / Degree
in: HALAL Management
Basic understanding of
HALAL principles
and food safety concepts.
Willingness to learn and work in a manufacturing / factory environment.
Good documentation and organizational skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Good communication skills (English / Bahasa Malaysia).
