About the Role Customer Interaction tribe is looking for an Intern with good knowledge in programming languages, software development principles and methodologies, as well as can-do attitude.We are offering 6 months internship to be part of our teams in Kuala Lumpur. As an intern, you will be given the opportunity to become technically proficient on full stack Java web applications while introduced to the corporate tools and environment(s); This means taking part in our curated curriculum to groom your persona and brush up your skills. You also will get the chance to learn stakeholder management, project management, communication with impact etc.What to expect:Develop, test, install and support application systems in line with product requirements.Create, deploy and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines ensuring the development and release of software is as seamless as possible.Work hand-in-hand with developers and testers to ensure code deploys and operates to the highest quality standards.Analyze problems, develop and propose solutions to senior team members.Develop and maintain technical documentation, prepare and give presentations to other team members, management and customers.Provide timing/scheduling estimates to team leader and propose corrective actions to timelines when necessary.Demonstrate customer centricity by working closely together with the internal customer.Collaborate with other engineers to innovate and implement the components of the design system.What will make you successful?Currently pursuing university undergraduate or post-graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.Solid knowledge or experience in any programming language and frameworks (preferably in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Angular 2+, TypeScript & JavaScript).Solid knowledge or experience of Web technologies including HTML, CSS, AJAX, Web Services, SOAP, REST, Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server.Knowledge/Experience of using any Linux OS.Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Ansible automation, Git, and GitHub/Bitbucket is a plus.Team player, ability to collaborate with teams operating in other time-zones (Europe and APAC)Excellent written and verbal (English) communications, strong interpersonal skills and customer centric attitude.Analytical with very good troubleshooting skills in understanding very complex situations and dependencies.Eager to learn and to stay up to date with the latest technologies.Other technical skills:Virtualization and containerization concepts and technologies is a big plus (VMWARE/vSphere, Docker, OpenShift and/or Kubernetes)Experience with public cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure) is seen as a big plus.Additional Info:Proper training will be provided.Hybrid workingConvenient location near LRT train stationDiversity & Inclusion at SWIFT\xe2\x80\x8b:We see diversity and inclusion as more than just policies and practices.
