Job Description

1. Design & Documentation

Assist in preparing or updating

technical drawings, P&IDs, SLDs, GA drawings

, and

data sheets

using software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Support preparation of

technical documents

(datasheets, test reports, FAT/SAT forms, manuals).

Ensure documentation complies with client or project standards (e.g., IEC, API, ISO).

2. Technical Support & Field Assistance

Assist engineers in performing site inspections, testing, and commissioning of equipment or systems (e.g., pumps, motors, panels, valves, skids, etc.).

Support troubleshooting activities under supervision -- diagnosing mechanical/electrical faults and documenting corrective actions.

Participate in preventive maintenance or calibration exercises as part of equipment lifecycle support.

3. Project & Product Support

Participate in the

assembly, integration, and testing

of mechanical/electrical components in workshop or site environments.

Assist in

vendor coordination

, tracking component deliveries, and ensuring documentation completeness (material certificates, inspection reports, etc.).

Help with

equipment tagging

, inventory checks, and component verification.

4. Data Collection & Analysis

Record operational or testing data and assist in performance analysis.

Use Excel or specialized software to analyze trends (e.g., vibration, temperature, current, flow rate).

Support the preparation of technical summaries or presentations for internal review.

5. Health, Safety, and Quality

Observe and comply with all

HSE requirements

during workshop and site activities.

Participate in

toolbox meetings, risk assessments

, and

quality inspections

.

Report unsafe conditions and suggest improvements.

6. Learning & Continuous Improvement

Learn and understand the company's products, systems, and client applications.

Shadow senior engineers during site visits or client meetings.

Take initiative to learn industry standards, codes, and technical documentation practices.

Pay: Up to RM100.00 per day
