Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to support our Centre of Excellence (COE) team. This role is ideal for someone curious about how HR shapes organizational capability--from developing talent and enhancing employee experience to strengthening culture and using people data for strategic decisions. You'll gain hands-on exposure to core COE initiatives while working closely with HR specialists across the function.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



1. Talent Development



Assist in planning and coordinating learning programs, workshops, and development activities. Support competency gap assessments and help track development progress. Contribute to the creation of training materials and e-learning content.

2. People Analytics



Help collect, organize, and maintain HR data for reporting and dashboards. Run basic data analysis to identify trends related to engagement, retention, and workforce demographics. Support the preparation of people insights for presentations and leadership reviews.

3. Employee Experience



Participate in employee engagement activities and support initiatives that improve workplace touchpoints. Assist with surveys, feedback exercises, and follow-up action tracking. Help maintain communication materials that reinforce a positive employee journey.

4. HRIS Support



Support data entry, verification, and updates within HR systems. Assist in troubleshooting basic system issues and coordinating with vendors or internal tech teams when needed. Help document HRIS processes and maintain system-related guides.

5. Culture Building



Contribute to culture-related campaigns and internal events that strengthen organizational values. Assist in developing content that promotes collaboration, recognition, and inclusion. Support change management activities tied to culture and transformation initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS



Qualifications



Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Strong academic standing and interest in HR COE areas such as talent development, people analytics, employee experience, or culture initiatives.

Experience



No prior work experience required, though involvement in campus projects, student committees, or HR-related coursework is an advantage. Any exposure to data analysis, event coordination, or administrative support is a plus.

Required Skills



Comfortable working with data, including basic analysis in Excel or Google Sheets. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Good organizational habits and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Curious, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn HR systems and digital tools.
