Objective:
To support the HR department in its daily operations, gaining exposure to the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding, while learning about HR compliance, employee engagement, and administrative processes.
Key Learning Areas & Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding Support:
Assist in posting job advertisements on various platforms.
Screen resumes and schedule interviews with candidates.
Help prepare offer letters and onboarding kits for new hires.
Support the coordination of new employee orientation sessions.
HR Administration & Record-Keeping:
Help maintain and update digital and physical employee files with strict confidentiality.
Assist in data entry and management within the HR system (if applicable).
Support the preparation of HR documents like confirmation letters and basic employment contracts.
Employee Engagement & Support:
Assist in organizing staff engagement activities or events.
Help administer employee benefits or survey processes.
Provide administrative support for employee inquiries.
Attendance & Payroll Support (Basic):
Learn to track and compile attendance and leave records.
Assist the HR team in verifying data for monthly payroll processing.
Mentorship:
Each intern will be assigned a supervisor for guidance and regular feedback.
Project:
Interns may be assigned a small capstone project related to their department's goals.
Duration:
3-6 months
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Degree in a related field (Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
A keen learner with a positive attitude.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: RM500.00 - RM800.00 per week
