Meida Food Producer Sdn. Bhd is looking for an internship student to join our operation team. In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for monitoring production operations especially in the CCP area. Monitor worker's hygiene, ensure cleanliness at production floor, machineries, equipment, and utensils.
2. Conduct in-process quality control inspection, approve, or subtract the raw materials / packaging materials / finished goods through visual and measurement tests and ensure that they meet quality standards.
3. Collect routine samples for shelf-life study & sample requests from customers.
4. Conduct moisture analysis, product sampling, approve or subtract the raw materials / packaging materials / finished goods through visual and measurement tests and ensure that they meet quality standards (if needed).
5. Assist QA & production team to investigate and solve customer complaints, customer feedback investigations, handle customer requests and / or conduct in-house product quality related issues.
6. To immediately inform immediate superior on any out of specification test result and assist in control of non-confirming/ rejected products or materials including proper identification and segregation.
7. Assist Quality Assurance Officer in preparing work instruction, standard operating procedure for laboratory analysis, instrument/equipment handling protocol and Quality Control Plan.
8. Assist QA & production team to investigate and solve customer complaints, customer feedback investigations, handle customer requests and / or conduct in-house product quality related issues.
9. Assist Quality Assurance Officer in organize in house training and monitor staff Typhoid and Food Handling Course compliance as KKM requirements.
10. Assist Storekeeper in monthly inventory inspection.
11. To work closely with the Production team, QA, Warehouse & logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and assist in company internal projects and any ad hoc task from superior from time to time.
12. Complete tasks or projects given from time to time.
Requirement:
1. Candidate should possess a Degree / Diploma in Food Science and Technology or equivalent in Halal management / All Science Field.
2. Formal background or training in Food Safety standards i.e. HACCP / GMP / HALAL
3. Prefer Intern period
6 months and above

4. In good health and without any health problems, especially those involving breathing or allergies
5. Good communication skills in English and Malay language for both spoken and written
6. Able to work independently with minimum supervision, self-motivated and a team player.
7. Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Power Point)
9. Prefer for those who live nearby Semenyih, Kajang or Bangi.
10. Possess own transport
