We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Sustainability Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to our organization\'s sustainability efforts. This position will provide you with valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of sustainability, compliance, CSR programs, and greenhouse gas emissions management.1. Compliance and Regulatory Environment:
- Gain an understanding of the expectations and requirements related to sustainability set by the Malaysia National Bank (Bank Negara Malaysia).
- Learn about compliance processes and procedures to ensure our organization meets sustainability standards.2. CSR Programs and Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Get an overview of our company\'s CSR initiatives and how they contribute to sustainability.
- Participate in the planning and execution of ongoing CSR projects, involving both environmental and social aspects.
- Interact with different departments to understand their roles in sustainability.
- Take part in cross-functional meetings to contribute ideas and gain insights from various teams.3. Greenhouse Gas Emissions Management:
- Gain practical experience in measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions.
- Support the sustainability team in the data collection process.
- Assist in preparing emissions reports to track and improve our environmental performance.Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, business administration, business management or related disciplines).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented and able to handle data accurately.
