Job Description

Job Purpose:

To assist the design and drafting team in producing technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD software. The intern will gain hands-on experience in interpreting design plans and contributing to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and modifying

2D drawings

and

layouts

using AutoCAD. Interpret

engineering sketches, notes, and design specifications

to produce accurate drawings. Ensure all drawings follow

company and project standards

. Assist in

updating existing drawings

based on changes or revisions from engineers or architects. Support the team in

organizing drawing files

, documentation, and backups. Participate in

coordination meetings

or discussions with design and engineering staff. Perform other drafting-related tasks as required by the supervisor.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a

Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture

, or a related field.

Basic proficiency in AutoCAD

(2D drafting essential; 3D is an advantage). Familiarity with technical drawings, measurements, and scales. Good attention to detail and willingness to learn. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM1,200.00 - RM1,400.00 per month
