  • A Diploma / Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management with 5 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

Primary Objective(s) of Position
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records - physical and system quantity, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and preparing inventory reports meeting customers KPI and/or SLA (service level agreements).
  • Responsible for overseeing the transportation business from collection point to various locations, ensuring DIFOT - delivered in full and on time. This will involve managing approved vendors, coordinating with transport staff, customers and implementing efficient transportation policies and procedures
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Keep and maintain accurate records of all inventory items in the warehouse, including locations, quantity, and status.
  • Schedule cycle count by counting selected inventory items on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Conduct regular Inventory Audits to ensure that physical inventory match inventory records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that inventory is properly labelled, stored and updated accurately in WMS.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate the causes of inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare inventory reports and communicate inventory levels to management and other stakeholders.Implement inventory management best practices and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • \xc2\xb7Responsible for correct and accurate billing/invoicing to customers by submitting billing reports to the Finance team.
  • Plan, coordinate routing plan, schedule collection and deliveries as per customers SLA.
  • Manage and supervising vendor derivers and staff to ensure timely deliveries and POD/DO returns.
  • Ensure all transport-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure vendor vehicles are maintained and serviced according to company policies and regulations.
  • Monitor transportation costs and implement cost-saving measures to improve company gross-profit targets.
  • Collaborate Finance team to ensure timely and accurate billing/invoice.
  • Ensure transportation needs are met and that customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors to support BD team expand/grow transport business revenue.
