Job Description


As an Trainee under CCIB Financial Markets, you are responsible in foster close relationship with SC clients, understand requirements and expectations, take accountability for the resolution of issues, proactive client management, cultivate long term partnership to become trusted advisors.The jobholder will build an understanding of the buying behaviour and requirements of Clients vs the product (and regional) capabilities across Financing and Securities Services (FSS). He/ She will assist in seeking out and closing commercially viable and realistic mandates that will provide sustained growth in revenue.Role purpose:

  • Identifies target clients, works in collaboration with stakeholders, such as FM Sales and Client Coverage, to agree and execute on
  • Growing incremental client income from existing clients, through increasing wallet share and onboarding new services
  • Generating new client income from New-to-Bank or New-to-FSS clients
  • Ensures that the pipeline information are accurately entered in Workbench and actively updated, capturing call reports and all pertinent deal activity in a timely manner.
  • Maintains awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic, and market environments in which the Group and the FSS business operates in.
  • Understand client\xe2\x80\x99s business needs and agenda, cultivate long term partnership with key clients.
  • Full accountability for the service delivery relationship with clients. Building relationships to understand client requirements and expectations.
  • Deliver resolution and management of client queries, data & reporting collation, delivery issues and tracking of progress; leveraging internal teams as appropriate.
To qualify for the role you must have :
  • University bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Economics, Business, or related discipline with minimum CPGA 3.00, and an English proficiency with a minimum of Malaysian University English Test (MUET) band 4.
  • At least 1 year experience in financial services with strong focus in client service, account management.
  • Preferred candidate with experience from securities services and/or investment portfolio servicing experience, asset management firm, financial markets organizations servicing clients
  • As this role will have regular client facing involvement, the person in this role must be confident, articulate and good with presentation skills.
  • Outgoing personality, with high potential of learning agility and leadership qualities.
