The OpportunityOur client, Established in 2010, this financial group specializes in asset management, wealth management, trustee services, and financial information platforms. With over a decade of experience, it targets core asset classes in Australia and pursues primary market opportunities with innovative strategies. Catering to high-net-worth investors, it offers investments in fixed-income, private equity, and IPOs. Managing assets over A$600 million, the group emphasizes value-added wealth management and diversified asset allocation.As an Investment Accountant, you will oversee BAS analysis, cash reconciliation, daily journal entries, interest payments, bank transactions, and BAS reporting. Ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, optimizing investment strategies for efficiency and profitability.Key Responsibilities:

• Managing accounting and reconciliation for investment transactions, ensuring daily or weekly updates of fund inflows and outflows to maintain accurate accounts.
• Conducting monthly investment valuation updates and preparing SPV entity management reports.
• Updating the company\'s loan portfolio monthly, tracking repayment schedules and ensuring consistency between accounts and payments.
• Handling documents filing related to Fund Distribution/NAV statements, loan agreements, and other financial documents.
• Assisting in the preparation and organization of annual financial reports.
• Conducting external communications related to interest reconciliation and other financial matters as necessary.
• Setting up new investment entities and managing the process.
• Handling new loan settlements and ongoing management of loan accounts.
• Managing loan discharges and ensuring all related documentation and processes are completed accurately.
• Assisting in the preparation and organization of annual financial reports.
• Conducting external communications related to financial matters and ensuring timely and accurate information exchange.

Skill, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance or anything related.
• 2-3 years of experience as an Investment Accountant or related field
• XERO experience is advantageous
• Experience in the Real Estate industry is a plus
• Proficiency with any Accounting Systems (SAP,Oracle,Quickbooks)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
