Job Description


Job Brief:We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Investor Relations Unit as an Intern. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of investor relations and credit rating. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations to support initiatives that drive investor engagement ensuring the right corporate messaging is disseminated in an effective and timely mannerJob Responsibilities:

  • Weekly news digest: Scan the market for relevant news pertaining to insurance, insurtech, travel, airline etc. To prepare a concise weekly summarised email to be shared with senior management.
  • Monitoring changes in shareholders: On a monthly basis to identifying the Top 20 shareholders movement, share price movements, changes in volume and shareholder composition based on the register of shareholders provided by the Company Secretary.
  • Scheduling meetings (virtual or face-to-face): Arranging the meeting logistics, blocking calendars and providing a meeting brief to internal meeting attendees prior to the actual meeting. To update shareholder meeting database post meeting.
  • Planning for the quarterly analyst briefing: This includes liaising with the respective business units on information request, preparing the CEO\xe2\x80\x99s analyst presentation deck, cheat sheet, FAQ, and CEO\xe2\x80\x99s talking points. Handle logistics pertaining to the actual day briefing.
  • Updating the Investor Relations webpage: On an ad hoc basis, to monitor can check for information that requires an update.
  • Other job scopes which may be delegated by the line manager based on his/her discretion: This includes credit rating, annual general meetings, Corporate/ Investor days, non-deal roadshows, special projects (corporate finance related), vendor payment processing etc.
Job Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program in accounting, commerce, finance, business administration, marketing, actuary, or a related field is preferred.
  • Numbers savvy. Able to understand and interpret financials.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
