Invoice-To-Pay (ITP) Team Manager (Bangsar South \xe2\x80\x93 Malaysia)

ITP Team Manager plays a pivotal role in driving efficiency, cost control, compliance, supplier and stakeholder relationship management, data analysis, and continuous process improvement within the function. The ITP Team Lead will need to have a thorough understanding of the Company\'s Winning Behaviours to effectively respond to ad hoc requests from various partners and effectively manage the team.

What will you be doing?
This role plays a part in cost control and financial management by implementing robust process controls to avoid late payment penalties and capitalize on early payment discounts. It involves identifying cost-saving opportunities, such as detecting billing discrepancies and addressing delayed invoice submissions. The position focuses on continuous improvement of the ITP process by identifying bottlenecks, evaluating difficulties, and optimizing workflows through process re-engineering, in collaboration with process experts and employee training. This also includes the following:


  • Manage and oversee the ITP function, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure excellence in service delivery.

  • Streamline and standardize the invoicing process by implementing efficient procedures, automating manual tasks, and demonstrating technology solutions. The goal is to reduce errors, minimize processing time, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

  • Foster collaboration with suppliers to facilitate smooth invoice processing. Encourage the adoption of e-invoicing/Ariba Network Invoices, educate suppliers on invoice submission, and establish effective communication channels for query resolution and dispute management.


What will you need to be successful?
Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization.
Successful candidates would need the following:

  • Min 6+ years of relevant ITP experience

  • SAP ERP, MS Dynamics, AX2012 and Ariba experience is strongly desired

  • Expert with managing ITP Process and other allied processes of ITP.

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting/MBA finance

  • Ability to lead a team by building strong relationships and influencing team members.

  • Result-oriented approach with good problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, focusing on quality and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritize while working in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to deliverables.

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
