Job Description

Key responsibilities and skills with an IoT developer:

• Device Integration: Connecting and integrating various IoT devices, such as sensors, actuators, cameras, and other hardware components, with software applications and platforms.
• Embedded Programming: Developing software for IoT devices with embedded systems and microcontrollers, often using programming languages like C, C++, or Python.
• Communication Protocols: Understanding and working with IoT communication protocols like MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, and WebSockets for data transmission between devices and servers.
• Data Management: Managing the vast amount of data generated by IoT devices, including data storage, analysis, and processing using databases, cloud platforms, and big data technologies.
• IoT Platforms: Familiarity with IoT development platforms and frameworks, such as AWS IoT, Google Cloud IoT, Azure IoT, and IoT Core, to streamline device management and data processing.
• Security: Implementing security measures to protect IoT devices and networks from vulnerabilities and cyber threats, such as encryption, access control, and secure communication.
• Edge Computing: Leveraging edge computing to process data locally on IoT devices or at the network edge to reduce latency and bandwidth usage.
• Cloud Computing: Utilizing cloud services and platforms for scalable and centralized data storage, analytics, and management.
• Mobile and Web Development: Developing mobile apps and web interfaces to allow users to interact with and control IoT devices remotely.
• Automation: Creating automation and control systems that make use of IoT data for monitoring and decision-making, including home automation, industrial automation, and smart city applications.
• Data Analytics and Machine Learning: Applying data analytics and machine learning techniques to gain insights from IoT data and enable predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and optimization.
• Prototyping and Hardware Selection: Choosing the appropriate hardware components and prototyping IoT solutions for testing and development.
• Compliance and Standards: Adhering to industry and regulatory standards related to IoT, such as IoT security guidelines and data privacy regulations.

Additional:

• Graduate with relevant degree.
• Driving license Class 3 is a plus.
• Ability to relocate to Iskandar Puteri

Contract length: 12 months Salary: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
