Responsibilities \xef\x82\xb7 You should hands-on, remote and/or on-site L2 and L3 switches, routers, firewalls and other network appliances configurations, integrations in an Enterprise and/or Service Provider networks, be it stand-alone ISP networks, MOCN environment, up to end to end single pane of glass monitoring and on-boarding in Network Management Systems. \xef\x82\xb7 You will be supervising the configuration and installation of new software and hardware. Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of the system. Configuring and installing security infrastructure devices such as IPS/firewalls/WAF/Web & Email Gateway & etc. Thorough understanding of the latest technologies, security principles, and protocols. Troubleshooting skill to identity & resolve technical issues. Knowledge of computer forensic tools, data loss prevention methods, and disaster recovery methods. Ability to work under pressure and stressful scenarios. Automation skills is a plus factor. \xef\x82\xb7 You should have strong knowledge and extensive experience working on a multi - layer service provider (ISP) environment from L2 switches, L3 routers, servers, upper NMS, other third party legacy and IP/Packet backhaul equipment for Trunk, Aggregation and Access Networks, 2G, 2.5G, 3G and 4G/LTE Network technologies, TDM Voice and Signalling. \xef\x82\xb7 You need to have fundamental understanding of the specifications of different optical fiber types, optical losses and link budgets, associated dispersion compensation, DWDM, SONET/SDH, ROADM and the likes, Ethernet technologies, timing and synchronization and protection configurations such as LMSP, N:1, N+1, ring topologies and related technologies. Job Requirements \xef\x82\xb7 Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Telecommunication, Electronic & Electrical, Computer Science or equivalent \xef\x82\xb7 Valid Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Juniper Networks Certified Internetworks Professional (JNCIP), Fortinet NSE Level 7 Certified or equivalent industry certifications or minimum relevant associate level certifications but with hands-on industry experience of atleats 2-3 years. \xef\x82\xb7 Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills of an IP networks relative to traffic flow, behavior, routing and security threats and issues. \xef\x82\xb7 Comprehensive understanding and proficiency in the use of MS Office.
