Responsibilities

-Provide support to counsels in managing intellectual property (IP) portfolios, including trademarks, patents, and designs, across United Kingdom (UK).

-Maintain and update IP management systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

-Monitor and manage critical deadlines, ensuring filings, renewals, and other tasks are completed within required timelines.

-Assist with corporate governance tasks, including notarization, legalization, and coordination of IP-related documents.

-Compile and prepare IP portfolio summaries, reports, and updates for counsels and stakeholders.

-Process IP invoices, track expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.

-Act as a coordinator for the implementation and maintenance of legal and IP systems, providing ongoing support and updates.

-Conduct research on IP laws and regulations within Malaysia and the UK to support legal counsel.

Requirements

- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.

- 0-2 years of work experience in intellectual property, trademark & patent (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate effectively (essential for interacting with international stakeholders).

- Interest in IP paralegal work, particularly in trademarks and related administrative tasks.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
