- Complete the Quality section of the Manufacturing Readiness Review
- Implement Quality Management Plans
- Monitor process control limits
- Assist product engineers in the maintenance of inspection procedures, audits and stock/floor purges
- Assist with operations on process improvements and process optimization
- Assist Engineering in the generation of weekly and monthly inspection and test reports for Business Units
- Review inspection and test reports for areas of process improvement
- May PM equipment and process/equipment troubleshooting
- Communicate quality data to employees and management
- All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer
- Maintain Process Feedback (PFS) data and tables and provide ongoing support to all PFS users
- Analyze data and resolve discrepancies
- Complete test yield charts, Defects Per Unit (DPU) charts, etc. in support of quality engineers
- Provide ongoing Quality System administrative support in the training area, on-line documentation and internal audit program
- Maintain critical item lists in support of Quality Engineers
- Develop and maintain Opportunities for Error (OFE) for all assemblies
- Provide Parts per Million (PPM) reporting and analysis for all products
- Notify departments when reviews are due
- Assist with ECO sign-off
- Ensure that quality levels are maintained by reviewing customer and Company quality requirements for purchased parts and in-house manufactured, assembled and ready-to-ship items
- Serve as liaison with other groups, both within and outside the Company, to resolve quality problems and to initiate corrective actions
- Examine quality characteristics by performing a variety of physical, mechanical, electrical and visual inspections
- Recommend design, manufacture or process modifications to facilitate adherence to quality specifications and standards
- Analyze discrepancies or deviations from predetermined customer standards or specifications to determine source and prepare recommendations for corrective action
- Prepare acceptance documentation for submittal to customer
- Perform visual mechanical inspection and electrical performance testing of products submitted for acceptance per quality control instructions and Product Acceptance Test procedures; Submit products to customers for their acceptance
- Position performance may be measured from a combination of Corporate and Divisional Balanced Score Card

- 2 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management
- 0-3+ years of electronics experience
